Valknut is probably one of the most known symbols in Norse Mythology associated with God Odin. In fact, Valknut has no confirmed explanation regarding its meaning. However, many experts in Norse Mythology believe that the Valknut Symbol expresses the ability of Odin to lay bonds upon the mind. The triquetra is a triangular figure composed of three interlaced arcs and mostly used in Celtic art. Celtic Reconstructionists use the triquetra to represent one of the various triplicities in their cosmology and theology (such as the tripartite division of the world into the realms of Land, Sea and Sky. The symbol is also sometimes used by Wiccans and some New Agers to symbolize the triple Goddess or as a protective symbol.
