A pair of silvered bronze earrings modelled after an Anglo-Saxon find design in the Trewhiddle style. The historical artifact is a pair of leg wrap hooks, which provided a secure hold for the wrap-around gaiters that were common in the early Middle Ages.
Our Trewhiddle earrings depict a motif of interlocked serpents wrapping around a mythical beast.
