Ancient Greek coin pendant with the depiction of the goddess Demeter wearing a necklace on one side and a barley grain with a leaf one the other. This unique Greek pendant is handcrafted from 925 sterling silver combined with brass patina to add this extra antique finish. The silver and brass polishing and finishing is done by hand individually for each pendant.
A beautiful double-sided piece that pays homeage to the Ancient Greek civilization with the authentic depictions used on the stater coins from Lucania-Metapontum region.

Demeter is the goddess of grain and agriculture. She is responsible of the fertility of the earth and protects both farming and vegetation. After Hades kidnaps Demeter's daaughter, Persephone, the goddess stops all life in earth, the plants not grow and a deep winter covers the earth. In order to fix this, Zeus suggests a solution, Persephone would live half of the year with her husband in the Underworld, and half of the year with her mother on the earth.

We offer Free Shipping on all orders over €100. Shipping costs under this value are calculated through the checkout process. Free Shipping does not apply for drinking horns and clothes such as t-shirts, hoodies, etc..
We will prepare and ship your order within 3-4 days if the products are shipped from our warehouse in Ukraine. For the products that are made in our workshop in Greece we need 7-12 days to have your order ready except the hand forged jewelry, drinking horns, and belts for which we need 12-15 days days.
