Viking pendant with beast inspired by the famous Viking brooch found at Lindholm Høje near Aalborg, Denmark. The original brooch dates to the second half of the 11th Century. Our Viking beast pendant is a perfect example of Urnes art featuring all the characteristics and elements of the particular style of art.
The pendant depicts a great beast fighting a serpent which represents the battle between good and evil, a concept which is often used in Viking jewelry with Urnes art. It is cast in bronze and comes with a leather cord of 1m.
