The Green Man is an ancient mythical deity of Nature and vegetation, worshiped mainly by the Celts and having his origins back in the Stone Age. Commonly depicted as a male figure with his face surrounded by leaves. The usual depiction is a man's face peering out of dense foliage. The legend of the Green man is often associated with other deities such as the Greek god Pan and Dionysus and the Celtic god Cernunnos.
