Lunula or Lunitsa is the well-known symbols of crescent moon with a deep meaning to Wiccans and Pagans since the Ancient times. Lunula pendants have been worn by women in the Viking age as a symbol of fertility, good fortune and happy life. However, lunula amulets has been found in Ancient Rome as well where were worn as protective talismans against evil, demons and sorcery. Lunula is probably the most powerfull symbol in many traditions associated with the worship of the Moon.
